Welder/Fabricator
Location: Mason, MIShift: 1st ShiftPay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary
Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking to stay local and earn great pay? Join a team that specializes in new custom builds, repairs, and tearouts. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of fabrication projects each week, using your welding and metalworking skills to support highquality production.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Welder/Fabricator, your core responsibilities will include:
Performing MIG welding (primary), with TIG, stick, and brazing experience considered a plus.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, verbal instructions, and sample drawings to understand project specifications.
Measuring materials accurately (down to 1/32") and performing basic math to support fabrication tasks.
Operating saws, grinders, drills, flamecutting equipment, and other power tools.
Deburring, cleaning, and visually inspecting your welds and the welds of others to ensure quality.
Working on a variety of custom fabrication projects, including trailer work (experience is a plus).
What We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
Strong MIG welding experience.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately (down to 32nds).
Excellent organizational skills and a positive, teamfocused attitude.
Ability to debur, clean, and inspect welds and materials.
Preferred Skills
Freehand welding: MIG (90%), TIG, stick; brazing ability helpful.
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
Knowledge of fabrication tools including saws, grinders, drills, and flamecutting equipment.
Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
Welding certifications and trailer fabrication experience are a plus.
