Engineering Technician – MEP Commercial HVAC / Refrigeration Technician

Location: Hudson, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $23–$28/hour, based on experience

We are looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC / Refrigeration Technician to join our manufacturing team in Hudson, FL. You’ll build and assemble commercial boiler and chiller equipment packages , working with refrigeration tubing, mechanical piping, plumbing, and basic electrical controls.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on technician looking to expand their skills beyond traditional field service work.

What You'll Do

• Braze and install copper refrigeration tubing and line sets
• Build and install PVC, CPVC, and copper piping
• Assemble commercial chillers, boilers, and HVAC equipment
• Fabricate FRP (fiberglass) equipment skids
• Perform basic electrical and low-voltage control wiring
• Read and interpret CAD drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot HVAC, refrigeration, and chiller systems
• Work with piping from 1⁄2" refrigeration lines up to 8" PVC
• Use computer-based work-order systems to manage assignments
• Travel for equipment startups, including occasional domestic and international travel (up to 30 days/year)

What We're Looking For

• Commercial HVAC or refrigeration experience required
• Experience with brazing and refrigeration piping strongly preferred
• Mechanical piping/plumbing experience
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Basic electrical/control wiring knowledge is a plus
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain a U.S. passport
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Training: Approximately 12 months of training will be provided to help you become fully proficient in our specialized equipment and systems.
