Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface design and user experience, with a passion for creating intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing digital products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to turn ideas into beautiful and functional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities: - User Research & Analysis:
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Analyze research findings to create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts that inform the design process.
- UI/UX Design:
- Design and iterate on user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring they are user-friendly and aligned with user needs.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure designs align with business goals.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine designs.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are implemented as intended and provide support during the development process.
- Testing & Iteration:
- Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to refine and improve designs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX design, and apply them to your work.
Qualifications: - Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
- Experience in designing user interfaces for both web and mobile applications.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Marvel, or similar.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with animation and interaction design.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
