GABRIEL GBOROGBOSI FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

We are pleased to announce that MISS HAPPINESS NWAMBO is one of the successful candidates after a rigorous selection process for the MAY/JUNE 2021 GABRIEL GBOROGBOSI FOUNDATION DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM slots.

Miss Happiness Nwambo will be known as a GBOROGBOSI SCHOLAR.

Please find below a brief BIO of Miss Happiness Nwambo after which the list of development activities is shown.
Miss Happiness Nwambo is a writer who is passionate about the growth of the girl child in Nigeria especially those in rural communities. From experience, she understands the dangers of low self-esteem and through her writings encourages her readers and especially the females to be confident and focus more on their strength rather than on their weakness.

Happiness is result-oriented and a team player. An ability she exemplifies so well when she served as the first female Secretary-General of the National Union of Ogoni Students(NUOS) Rivers State University chapter and partnered with other female executives to host the First Female Conference of the Union. The conference was aimed at arousing the consciousness of females from the Ogoni extraction on the need to participate actively in the leadership and growth of the area.

Through four years of volunteering duty in media houses, She garnered knowledge of news gathering from working in the fields and also as a news writer and editor at Radio Rivers 99.1 FM. Her works speak from her 2016- 2020 role as co-host on the show, ‘The Watershed’ and ‘You and Your Health’ Programme on Excel 103. 7 FM in Port Harcourt.

As a student member of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, Happiness Nwambo has participated in different seminars and training on handling organizations and their publics.

Happiness holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication from Rivers State University. She is single and currently a youth corps member serving her country as a teacher on a one year National Youth Service in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
